Small Seascape Painting | Daily Painting | Small Oil Painting | Green Sea by Carol Schiff | 11x14 Original SOLD

This small seascape painting was worked with a palette knife and is full of texture.  Just as the sea has many faces, my art does too.  Some days I want to do a detailed piece and somedays I want to sling paint.  Today...I wanted to sling paint.

SOLD
 The textured sand and foliage.

Carmen Beecher: Sunrise on the Beach, 8x6 Original Oil on Canvas S...

Watching the sunrise on our beach is such an awesome experience. In a turbulent world, there is so much peace on the other side of the beach crossover. It's nice to change the noise of traffic to the soothing sounds of the waves.

I was in a softer mood when painting this one. I need something calming during this election season as an alternative to banging my head on the wall. Serenity now...

PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF, 6X8, OIL, SOLD

A perfect beach day...kids running around, surfer's waiting for the "great one", birds overhead.  Lots of sunshine and the beautiful Atlantic...what more could we ask for?  I think this gentleman was asking for just a little more, but as far as I could tell, no luck!  There is always tomorrow.

Beach Chair, 10x8 Oil on Canvas Panel Seascape

Discover Seascape Art, Realistic Seascape Paintings, Seascape Paintings, Contemporary Seascape Paintings, Abstract Seascape Paintings, as International Artists post daily their newest artwork. .

I know there are a lot of stripes in this painting: the clouds, the ocean, the surf, the beach--even the chair has stripes in it. There really isn't much you can do about it, that's the way it looked. I decided to just go with it. There was more seaweed than I'm showing, but it didn't look too pretty. The Sargasso Sea is a large mass of floating seaweed and when it drifts to our beaches, it helps anchor the sand and it provides food for small creatures. When you see a brown tangled mass on the beach, don't complain about it, just thank it.
